About

Throughout her artistic journey, she came to the realization that nothing ever goes as planned. The only certainty is that eventually, everything and everyone will start on a journey back to being one with the earth. Within her creations, she felt the need to make those connections between the human body and nature through ceramics and wood. The majority of her pieces break at some point during the process, whether it be before they are put into the kiln or after they have been painted. Regardless, she firmly believes in letting nothing go to waste and finding beauty in the imperfect and broken. Covering imperfections with greenery symbolizes her work being returned to the earth.

The name Psithurism translates to breeze between the trees. She hopes her viewers feel the remanence of nature within each creation.
